  • BBN is the UK's community for purpose-driven businesses — the ones that believe doing good and doing well aren't in conflict. We bring you continuous learning, genuine community connections and the collective power to drive real change. Whether you're just starting your impact journey or already well down the road, there's a place for you here.

  • BBN has five tiers to suit different sizes and stages:

    • Guest — Free

    • Community — £95 + VAT/year

    • Growth — £500 + VAT/year

    • Better Business Standard — £795 or £995 + VAT/year

    • Corporate Partner — £5,000 + VAT/year (limited to 12 in 2026)

Larger members' fees help subsidise access for smaller ones, so joining is already an act of impact. See the full breakdown on our Join Us page.

  • Every tier builds on the one before it.

Guest members can explore the community and attend events for free.

Community members get full platform access and networking.

Growth members add Carbon Literacy Training for their whole team, B Corp Bootcamp, unlimited workshops, co-working access and free promotion in the BBN newsletter and social channels.

Better Business Standard members get everything in Growth plus a formal eight-week accreditation course, an impact report and public recognition which is launching September 2026. Full details on our Join Us page.

  • Yes. You can move between tiers at any renewal point. If you're not sure which tier is right for you now, start at Guest or Community and grow from there.

  • No long-term contract. Annual memberships auto renew and you can cancel before your renewal date.

If you join and feel BBN isn't right for you within the first 14 days, we'll give you a full refund.

  • No. We welcome businesses from anywhere on their impact journey from complete beginners to established B Corps.

What matters is that you're an ethical organisation with a genuine desire to make a positive difference. It's less about where you are and more about where you want to go.he same vision, to create regenerative businesses that have a positive impact with the work they do.

We work hard to ensure BBN is authentic. We reserve the right to remove your membership if you don’t align with the values of BBN.

  • The lead member for each organisation should be the business owner or a member of the leadership team, but you can add as many team members as you like at an extra £40 per year.

We welcome businesses, charities, CICs, social enterprises and other organisations of all kinds.

  • Most networks are built around who you know. BBN is built around what you're trying to do.

We combine genuine learning and development, a community of like minded businesses and collective campaigning power that no individual business could have alone.

We're also the only UK network where your membership contributes toward a collective voice that the government can't ignore: 10,000 members means a petition force that guarantees a formal government response.

And we offer a 14 day money back guarantee so you can try it without risk.

  • It started as a private accountability group in 2020, then it officially launched in April 2021 accepting small cohorts of businesses.

We started promoting the network to the wider business community and opened our doors in June 2022.

We have grown and developed a lot since then, and we moved onto our brand new platform in November 2024 to continue to improve our incredible community and restructured to be more accessible and impactful in March 2026.

  • This is our flagship conference taking place annually in Manchester, UK. It takes place over two days followed by a day in nature.

For more information check out the Better Business Summit page.

  • The Better Business Standard is BBN's practical accreditation framework for businesses ready to measure, prove and communicate their impact properly.

It's available to Better Business Standard tier members and involves an eight week guided course, a free impact report and formal public recognition. It launches in September 2026.
